Agricultural and forestry systems in the face of climate change
Agriculture and forestry are subject to the effects of climate change — as are natural resources and biodiversity — yet also contribute to the problem. As a result, they must find ways to concurrently adapt to and mitigate their impact on climate change. They can also actively contribute to global efforts to control anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions, while also protecting natural resources, soil resources in particular.
