#Food priority: sustainable production of healthy food

It is a challenge to provide consumers, frequently found in urban areas, with healthy foods that come from sustainable food chains, from production to consumption. More research must be dedicated to examining the relationship between urban areas and food, and to characterizing the positive and negative effects of food systems on human health and food quality, including links with the agricultural and processing steps.
